Clinton v. Obama?

As an “admirer” of Barack Obama, I harbor some hope we might see some “fresh meat” that can steer this country in some direction, rather than floundering around. So I would say I am an “early” supporter - except I am a bit cautious about his slick-Teflon-like articulation.  However, a comment in the Vermont Daily Briefing has made me pause…Rick - from Colorado - found Barack a bit too “articulate” in his post “State of the Union Address” interviews and found Hillary “satisfyingly specific” - with “balls”!  I missed these interviews, but I have taken note of Obama’s PR opportunities - and honestly he is sounding a bit too much like his book “Audacity of Hope”.  This is not good.  While he may be a bit “unaccomplished” (as PZ Meyers says…),  my hopes were for someone who wasn’t tainted by Washington business as usual.
Rick notes:

She (Hillary) sounded like a person who knew the facts and had formulated a plan.

In comparison, Barack sounded almost slick. I was disappointed. Especially after Jim Webb had spoken (a perfect choice for The Response) and kicked some Bush ass again, I wanted a little fire from Barack.

Can Hillary do the job better? Can she do it at all?  The question begs what “job” it is that needs to be done of course (on which there is much disagreement), and given the current state of affairs, why would anyone seek the office of POTUS?  In my mind, you have to be nuts to willingly take on this chore after W.  But maybe just maybe Hillary can shake things up and get us moving somewhere! Thanks Rick… I’ll take her candidacy a bit more seriously… obviously a lot of other people are.
