Reading the opinion piece in the Burlington Free Press by Martha Abbot, I realize that critical thinking can’t solve problems. If Ms. Abbott believes Vermont is in fine shape, it explains why Vermont is in the shape it is!

Vermont is squarely placing itself into the true test of critical thinking: the free market. Time will tell if the “feel good” approach to Vermont politics and fiscal policy will make it all good. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
