Commentary from the Green Mountain State

Vermont does not need to take any additional proactive postures to proportionately assist in reducing carbon emissions and hence its contribution to global warming. And it does lead by extraordinary example! Art Woolf gets it; why are the rest of us so slow? We have done an extraordinary job already. Here’s why: our “global” economy is entirely carbon based and most of that carbon is fossil fuel. Some moderate contribution by nuclear energy to be sure – but we’re working hard to make that trivial.
