crepes, Spencer Tunick, and global warming

from Spencer Tunick Certainly this image is intriguing. What message is it sending to you? As a favorite topic of this blogger, it says very little “about” global warming. That there are 600 people willing to take the time, trouble, and some (?) discomfort to participate in this photo shoot… what does that say? I am not a global warming denier - I concede that our climate may in fact be getting warming on the average. So too is the climate on Mars. And I suggest that - at least on Mars - it has little to do with human activity

If these 600 people are really concerned about global warming, did they stop to consider the additional carbon emissions required to give Spencer Tunick a high ranking on “Google Trends” this morning. I suspect not. And… not to be overlooked, I almost always have to pee when my body temperature drops… so what does that do to that poor glacier?

Swedish pancakes are nothing more than a crepe into which you put tasty jams and jellies on a Sunday morning. Easy to make; 2 eggs, 1/2 milk, 1/2 cup flour, 1 tblsp of sugar, a dash of vanilla extract, beat and adjust consistency to that of thick whole cream - adding milk or flour as required. The trick is the griddle! Find a nice crepe pan to do the job. It’s worth it.
