So what would a blogger who rants about the global warming debate, Vermont progressives, taxes… so on and so forth… care about “marketing”?

Simple. IDEAS are something we “market” too. That’s why I like Seth’s Blog - it is about marketing and he does a very good job. So he’s on my reader. And just today up popped this little gem: Conceal vs. Reveal. Apparently, Seth sees a trend that seeks to build confidence in potential customers by giving them the facts about a product; good and not so good. That’s refreshing, isn’t it? Imagine if that same strategy was used in policy positions, or legislative initiatives, or any IDEA.

So I ask myself, why is it that the most steadfast proponents of the catastrophic consequences of anthropogenic global warming are so reluctant to reveal things; such as revealing the actual data they use to persuade us that - without a doubt - carbon dioxide is the culprit to our current climate change?

As Seth points out… it’s about building trust.
